The Schneider Electric Wiser water leakage sensor sends out an alarm and a notification via the Wiser Home App when water is detected. It has 2 sensing pads at the bottom of the body that are activated when water is present between them. Whether or not the sensor is connected to the Wiser Hub, the integrated siren still goes off to notify you of the water leak. The water leakage sensor is battery operated (2 x LR03 AAA 3VDC batteries) and require no cabling. Battery lifetime is 5 years at normal usage. When the battery is low (less than 10%), the status LED blinks orange and a short beep sound is sent out once a minute. A message is also sent to the Wiser Hub to enable notification via the Wiser Home App. Place the sensor on the floor near the dishwasher, water or drain pipes, water tanks or other areas of concerns. Connect it to the Wiser Hub via the eSetup App for electricians, or with the Wiser Home App. Dimensions: 71 69 19 mm. Operating temperature: -10C to 50C.
